Twin Apex Solutions, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates MacroFuel AI (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and web service. Please read this policy carefully. 1.1 Personal Information You Provide

When you create an account or use the App, you may provide us with:

• Account Information: First name, last name, username, email address, and password
• Profile Information: Date of birth/age, gender
• Health and Fitness Data: Height, current weight, goal weight, body fat percentage, daily macro goals (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat), meal logs, food intake data, hydration levels, sleep data, activity/step counts, workout sessions, fasting sessions, and micronutrient tracking
• Payment Information: Subscription purchases are processed through Stripe (web) and RevenueCat/Apple App Store/Google Play (mobile). We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers.
• User-Generated Content: Posts and interactions within community Circles, AI content reports
• Profile Photo: Optional profile photo from your device's photo library, stored securely and only visible to you

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Pedometer Data: Step count data from your device's built-in motion sensors (with your permission)
• Photos: Food images you capture or select for AI-powered nutrition analysis. These images are sent to our servers for processing and are not stored permanently.
• Voice Data: Audio recordings for voice-to-text meal logging (with your permission). Audio is transcribed and then discarded; raw audio files are not stored.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• GPS location or geolocation data
• Contact lists or phonebook data
• Phone number or physical address
• Browsing history or data from other apps
• Advertising identifiers or tracking data

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the App's functionality
• Analyze meals and food items using AI to estimate macronutrient and calorie content
• Calculate personalized nutrition goals based on your body profile
• Generate AI-powered coaching insights, meal recommendations, and grocery lists
• Track your health and fitness progress over time
• Enable community features (Circles) for social interaction
• Process subscription payments
• Improve and optimize the App's performance and features
• Send transactional emails such as password reset codes and account verification
• Communicate with you about your account or changes to our policies

3. Health and Fitness Data

• Your health and fitness data is used solely to provide you with personalized nutrition tracking, coaching, and wellness insights within the App.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your health data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the App's core functionality.
• Health data is transmitted securely using HTTPS encryption.
• AI analysis of your meals is performed by Google Gemini AI. Meal descriptions and images are sent to Google's API for processing. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• MacroFuel AI provides nutritional estimates only. The App is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Where Your Data Is Stored

• Locally on Your Device: User profiles, preferences, and cached meal data are stored using on-device storage (AsyncStorage) for fast access and offline functionality.
• Cloud Database: Meal logs, workout sessions, fasting sessions, community posts, and account information are stored in a secure PostgreSQL database.
• Payment Data: Managed entirely by Stripe (web) and RevenueCat/Apple/Google (mobile) in their respective PCI-compliant infrastructure.

4.2 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information:

• All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text
• Database access is restricted and protected by authentication credentials
• API endpoints for premium features require verified subscription status
• Biometric authentication (Face ID/fingerprint) is available for app access
• Session tokens are used for authenticated requests

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Google Gemini AI: Processes meal descriptions, food photos, and voice transcriptions to provide nutrition analysis. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe: Processes web subscription payments. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchase subscriptions on iOS and Android. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store / Google Play: Processes in-app purchase payments on their respective platforms. Subject to Apple's and Google's Privacy Policies.
• Open Food Facts: Provides nutrition data for barcode-scanned products. This is a public, open-source database. No personal data is sent to this service.
• Gmail (Google): Used to send transactional emails such as password reset codes. Only your email address is used for delivery. We do not use your email address for marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, AdMob).

6. Data Retention

• Meal Logs: Stored indefinitely to provide you with a complete nutrition history, unless you request deletion.
• Workout Sessions: Stored indefinitely for your fitness tracking history, unless you request deletion.
• Fasting Sessions: Stored indefinitely for your wellness history, unless you request deletion.
• Account Information: Retained for as long as your account is active.
• Community Posts: Retained for as long as the associated Circle exists or until you request deletion.
• Photos and Voice: Food photos are processed for AI analysis and are not permanently stored on our servers. Voice recordings are transcribed and immediately discarded.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Access and Portability

You have the right to request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. Contact us at the email below to submit a data access request.

You can update your profile information directly within the App at any time. For corrections to other data, contact us.

7.4 Consent Withdrawal

You may withdraw consent for data collection by discontinuing use of the App and requesting account deletion. Withdrawing consent for device permissions (camera, microphone) can be done through your device's settings.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

MacroFuel AI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App includes age validation during account creation. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

MacroFuel AI uses artificial intelligence to generate nutritional estimates, coaching advice, meal suggestions, and other content. Users can report inaccurate or offensive AI-generated content through the in-app reporting feature. All reports are reviewed by our team. AI content is provided for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical or nutritional advice.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
